YCN Newsletter 24 - 1st Joint KCerS-ECerS Symposium from a participant's point of view - Awais Qadir
The Fall Meeting of the Korean Ceramic Society (KCerS) was held from October 16–18, 2024, at COEX in Seoul, South Korea. A highlight of the conference was the inaugural KCerS-ECerS Joint Symposium, a collaborative event between the Korean Ceramic Society (KCerS) and the European Ceramic Society (ECerS). This symposium marks the beginning of an exciting exchange of ideas and research in ceramics between young researchers from Korea and Europe.

The 1st Brazilian Meeting on Ceramic Additive Manufacturing (CeramicAM) was held from 19 to 20 September 2024 in São Carlos, SP, Brazil. The event was organized and hosted by the São Carlos School of Engineering of the University of São Paulo (USP) in collaboration with the Brazilian Ceramic Association (ABCeram), the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), and the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo (IFSP).

20 JECS Trust grants available to attend the CERAMIC AM SUMMIT!
The Ceramic AM Summit will be organised by DKG from 30th June to 2nd July 2025 at WISTA Eventcenter in Berlin, Germany.
Next Deadline to apply to the JECS Trust is 31st May 2025
Please note that the decisions of the JECS Trust board will not be known before end of July 2025. Activities submitted for the deadline of 31st May 2025 for support from the JECS Trust should then not begin before August 2025.
