Having been enthusiastic about maths and physics at school, she decided to look for a place to study in the silver city Freiberg. The ECerS Summer School on Advanced Characterization Techniques will be organized at the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon (INSA Lyon) in Lyon the week before the next ECerS conference, from Thursday 29 to Friday 30 June.
