  • Development of thermal shock and corrosion resistant ceramic materials for high temperature applications in metallurgy, cement and glass industry and power engineering (carbon containing ceramics, castables for furnace lining, insulating materials, thermal shock resistant ceramics for steel metallurgy)
  • Generative manufacturing and 3D hybrid process (3D spaghetti extrusion for filter production, 3D alginate route, casting, roboflamespraying)
  • 3D printing (Selective Lasersintering, Fused Filament Fabrication)
  • Open-porous ceramics for high-temperature applications (molten metal filters, thermal insulating materials)
  • Alkali-resistant insulating materials for the cement industry

  • Further development of conventional ceramic process engineering (slip casting, extrusion, uniaxial pressing, isostatic pressing)
