The purpose of the 2026 ECerS International Ceramist Student Exchange Program Grant awarded by ECerS with the financial support of the JECS Trust is to help 30 European students to participate in events (schools, conferences, workshops, etc.) organised by other Ceramic Societies from all around the world with whom ECerS collaborates.

This first call is dedicated to European Students wishing to attend the 50th ICACC (International Conference and Expo on Advanced Ceramics and Composites) that will be held from 25th toç 30th January 2026 in Daytona Beach - Florida - United States - as well as the IGNITE MSE workshop (International Gathering and Networking for Individuals to Explore Materials Science and Engineering) that will be organised by ACerS and CGIF on Sunday 25th January 2026, prior to the start of ICACC'2026. This professional development workshop will be dedicated specifically for students and early-career attendees.

A Grant of 1.200 € will be awarded to the selected students. 50% of the support will be paid to the students before the travel and the remaining 50% will be paid after receipt of the proof of attendance given by the local event organizer.
