Exceptional facilities :

  • Mettler Toledo LabMax: A lab reactor that can be used to perform chemical reactions automatically. Allowing a quick development and optimization of new methods for preparative chemistry.
  • Spin-Coater: To deposit uniform thin films to flat substrates.
  • Screen-Printing: To transfer ink onto a substrate following a predefined pattern.
  • Ethos One MW Furnance Milestone: The ETHOS UP is equipped with two 950 Watt magnetrons for a total of 1900 Watt making it the most powerful microwave digestion system available for sample preparation.
  • MBraun Easylab Glovebox: High vacuum feedthroughs and an automatic regenerable oxygen and moisture single reactor column inert gas purification system that purifies the glovebox atmosphere to levels of less than 1 ppm oxygen and moisture, allow to work under clean and inert conditions.

Financial support programmes :

  • European funding:
  • Regional fundings:
  • National fundings: Directed assembly of functional ceramics at the nanoscale: Phosphor materials and multiferroic systems (DAFCOM) (MAT2016-80182-R); Synthesis strategies for the obtaining of semiconductor oxide with nanoscale morphological control (SIMONA) (MAT2014-59210-JIN); Molecular recognition as the key to sustainable processing of electronic nanocomponents (MORENA) (MAT2014-61405-EXP); Sustainable processing of complex oxide-based nanoarchitectures (SCOBA) (MAT2013-40722-R)
