Exceptional facilities :
From precursor synthesis to characterization of materials at different length-scale:
- Several stations for precursor syntheses (including various approach by mechanochemistry, in autoclave, …)
- Deposition techniques (CVD, PECVD, PVD, PLD, LECBD, powder/suspension plasma spraying)
- Additive manufacturing technologies: inkjet printing, (micro-)stereolithography, extrusion technologies (FDM, robocasting), aerosol deposition method
- Shaping processes: tape-casting, dip-/spin-/spray-coating, spinning line, injection process, …
- Sintering: Under controlled atmosphere up to 2200°C, Hot Pressing, Hot Isostatic Pressing, Spark Plasma Sintering, Gas Pressure Sintering
- A complete set of characterization tools via the CARMALIM plateform.
Financial support programmes :
- From regional to European fundings
- A large part of the financial support occurs via direct collaboration with industrial partners
